The "Heiberg lamp" is a famous classic Danish table lamp, originally made for petroleum, then later mid century, changed to an electrical version.
The lamp originates back to 1830s, and was named after a Danish painting from 1870, by Wilhelm Marstrand, depicting the Heiberg family sitting around a table, with the lamp on it.
